Contact Center Teller



CONTACT CENTER TELLER, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to be responsible for electronic member service systems including video, telephone, live chat, and email; delivering outstanding member service; performing a multitude of customer service requests including processing financial transactions such as cash and check inquiries, account maintenance, and password resets; and resolving customer concerns. Will remain informative and responsive to members' requests while cross-selling products and services that enhance their financial relationship to the Credit Union. Responsibilities will include maintaining knowledge and expertise in utilizing member interface technology, electronic delivery systems, and numerous software applications used by the Credit Union; the input of member (customer) transactions to online core system; actively responding to member inquiries via electronic delivery systems to identify issues and needs and propose solutions; providing information on Credit Union products and services and identifying sales opportunities; participating in annual student and mini-membership drives; and implementing and complying with all policies and procedures of MIT and the MIT Federal Credit Union.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a high school diploma or equivalent certificate of education, a minimum of six months' cash handling/balancing experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail orientation, strong analytical skills, accurate typing skills and mathematical ability, solid working knowledge of PCs and familiarity with Microsoft software, and member/customer service experience. Credit union, banking, or other financial industry experience strongly preferred. Job #14121-3
