The College of Liberal and Professional Studies ( LPS ) and the Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania are seeking qualified applicants for one full-time lecturer position to begin January 1, 2017. The responsibilities of the position are divided between teaching duties (90%) and advising/administration (10%) for undergraduate programs in LPS . Teaching experience in any of the following courses is preferred: Introductory Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Animal Behavior, and Social Psychology. The administrative duties for the position include, but are not restricted to, responding to inquiries from prospective students and assisting with program-related activities. The 12-month position is eligible for reappointment for up to an additional two years, based on an annual performance review and approval of the Dean.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Psychology, commitment to undergraduate & continuing education, and previous teaching experience are required; experience and/or interest in online teaching and previous administrative experience are preferred.
