About the Position
Reporting to the Dean of the College of Science (CoS) or their designee, and receiving work lead direction from the Lead Network Analyst for the College, the incumbent is part of a team of technicians that provides support for Windows and Linux servers within the College of Science.
Responsibilities for the information technology consultant including, but are not limited to:
- Installation, analysis, modification, maintenance and security of hardware and software for servers within the College.
- Customizing, maintaining and upgrading operating systems, applications and related hardware to meet ongoing user needs to maximize operating efficiency and ensure the availability, integrity and reliability of these systems.
- An active member of the CoS Network and Computing Services (NCS) team and work towards the goals and mission of the College.
