Job Description: This position assists the Interlibrary Loan Lending Manager with processing materials to be loaned to other libraries. Tasks include:
-Finding and pulling library materials from the stacks.
-Scanning passages from books and microfilm.
-Processing requests using ILLiad, a specialized interlibrary loan database software, and other library resources.
-Packaging library materials to be shipped to other libraries.
-Assisting with projects (usually data entry) and tasks in other areas of the department as needed.

Good attention to detail is an absolute must. Familiarity with database software or computers in general is a plus. This position works 10-20 hours a week on a regular schedule between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends, nights, or holidays are required. Starting pay depends on experience, but will be at least $8.00/hour. This position begins in Fall 2016 and works year-round whenever classes are in session.


Minimum Qualifications: To be eligible for FEDERAL WORK STUDY positions, students MUST BE QUALIFIED and RECEIVE a FEDERAL WORK STUDY AWARD from the ECU Financial Aid Office (Old Cafeteria Complex, 252-328- 6610.)
