Summary of Job Duties
The Human Resources Specialist provides administrative support to the Employee Services Team and the RazorTemps temporary staffing program. The job duties include but are not limited to performing data entry, screening applications, scheduling and interviewing candidates, and processing employment documents and payroll records for temporary personnel. This position will also be ordering background checks; responding to unemployment claims; preparing required reports; and monitoring employment-related compliance efforts. This position will serve as the campus E-verify Administrator and will be responsible for processing all Form I9s and other new hire paperwork for the campus.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The educational equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least three years of human resources related experience

  • Experience using PeopleAdmin and the University of Arkansas BASIS system
