Job Description: The SPA Administrative Support Associate - Journey for the office of Clinical Experiences in the College of Education serves a Lead Coordinator, three clinical coordinators, teacher education field experiences, tracks all teacher education performance data, all absences for student teachers, monitor and respond to the Generis OCE email; processes university supervisor travel, and maintains the travel budget. The responsibilities of this person include, but are not limited to: assisting with inquiries about OTE/OCE policies and procedures; word processing, creating and maintaining records/files; entering/extracting data in the Teacher Education performance management system, TEMS, and the OCE Directories; supporting field experience processes; answering multi-line phones; making travel arrangements; processing travel paperwork for university supervisors; ordering &/purchasing supplies; maintaining the internship travel budget, and supporting the Lead Coordinator. Candidate will need to be proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SSB Banner, INB Banner, ODS, E-Print, and PORT. Organizational skills are a necessity, along with the ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks in an efficient manner, prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision, and interact with school system personnel across the state, faculty, other staff, and students daily.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Special Instructions to Applicants: This position is subject to the Career Banding Salary Administration Plan. If candidates are not identified at the Journey level, management may consider candidates at a lower competency level. Pay will be commensurate with applicant's competencies as well as budget, equity, and market considerations.
