Job Summary: Serves as the administrative head of the School of Nursing. Campus Provost/Dean is the driving catalyst for a vibrant and growing campus. The Provost's key role is to promote an environment of creativity and innovation, and ensuring the aligning of academic priorities and initiatives with student services across the college.

Minimum Qualifications: Three years administrative experience in nursing education or institutional management and three years of clinical experience. Current unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Louisiana (renewed annually). Must have a record of effective administrative and fiscal management in a higher education setting. Must have a demonstrated commitment to creating an environment that is supportive of students, staff, and faculty, including a proven track record of valuing and supporting diversity. Experience in academic program development, implementation, and evaluation in nursing education. Dynamic leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: At least five years experience at the level of dean or above.

Education: Master's degree in nursing or approved equivalent from institutions accredited by a regional accreditation association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Doctorate in nursing preferred.
