Located eight miles north of Baltimore, MD on a beautiful 287-acre campus, and having just celebrated its 125th anniversary; Goucher College is a national, selective liberal arts college of 1,450 undergraduate students. As the first, and still the only, traditional liberal arts college in the country to require all undergraduate students to study abroad, Goucher is well known for its academic rigor, global perspective, and sense of community.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills; a good sense of judgment and integrity; and must appreciate and support a culture of customer service, including interacting directly with students and their families. Also required is a demonstrated record of utilizing technology to support financial aid packaging and service delivery, and an intimate knowledge of government regulations and issues of compliance. The college seeks an individual who possesses a management style conducive to training, motivating, and developing staff; who will participate in the life of the campus community; and who will represent Goucher to the public, at both on- and off-campus events. A bachelor s degree (advanced degree preferred), and at least five years of successful financial aid experience, to include staff supervision is required. Experience with PowerCAMPUS/PowerFAIDS is preferred. The successful candidate will work occasional weekend and evening hours, and will be subject to a background check.
