Job Description: Project STEPP is a program which provides support to students with learning disabilities attending ECU. Our mentors work closely with both students and all other Project STEPP team members. Mentors support the college transition process for students in the program both in systematic and informal ways. In addition to working with freshmen students to whom they are assigned, mentors will also be available in the office during set hours each week to assist any of the students in the program. Project STEPP Mentors are also a valuable source of information for program evaluation, data collection, and student support. The position begins August 16 or 17 and continues both fall and spring semesters. We need someone who is responsible, organized, good with people, and willing to commit to a full year with our program.
