The University Advancement office at Virginia Commonwealth University seeks an experienced advancement services professional to serve as the Director of Advancement Services. This Professional Faculty position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Advancement Services, and will be charged with assisting in the development and execution of a strategic plan for the Advancement Services Department. He/she will also take a front line leadership role for gift management activities, including enforcement of IRS regulations and CASE best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing all aspects of advancement services functions, including prospect research, reporting, and information technology, and will serve as the designee in the absence of the AVP of Advancement Services.
