Coordinator of Customer Relations

Description:
The Coordinator of Customer Relations assists in communicating and implementing the department s commitment to excellent service to both the university s internal and external customers; and handle confidential information with discretion. In addition, the incumbent serves as the coordinator of Public Safety s combined access control and key control programs. The other major programs that this position coordinates are permit distribution and the ticket appeals process. Reporting directly to this position are 5 customer relation representative positions. The coordinator for customer relations will also supervise a small group of part time staff who answer the Information line for the campus.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma and college level training, preferably a B.A. in business or a related field.
Minimum Requirements:
Two years responsible work experience in a business/administrative office setting; preferably some level of supervisory experience.

Excellent knowledge of computers (IBMs, IBM compatible,); should have excellent skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, and use of other databases; knowledge and some experience with working with LANs and information systems; knowledge of other office equipment; ability to work with minimum supervision and possess a high level of communication, editing and writing skills.
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of C-Cure, Complus and Datatel are preferred.
