Associate Director Integrated Technology Solutions

Description:
The Associate Director, Integrated Technology Solutions will be a keen technologist, adept at managing outcomes, through successful mix of technology solutions. This individual will lead his/ her team to develop and implement technology strategies and solutions that support the university s objectives and department-level goals and ensure that our current set of technology is creating value for our customers. He/she will be a hands-on technical manager, responsible for growing and mentoring individual team members, managing complex technology projects, and influencing groups outside their direct span of control.

The Integrated Solutions group in Enterprise Systems is a key component of the overall Enterprise Application Analysis & Development unit. This group will focus on shaping and furthering a variety of applications to support the needs of campus staff and academic units. The Integrated Solutions group will include the following functions and/or roles Application Developers, Systems Analysts and Technology leads. The successful candidate should have demonstrated technical leadership capabilities across a variety of technology platforms, preferably ERP platforms.
Educational Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years in staff management and leadership
- 5-7 years in application development, experience with vendor management of third party services
- Previous experience with ERP, preferably Datatel
- Availability after-hours to support staff is required
- Strong experience managing large application implementations
- 5+ years implementing large projects, product integration, development systems
- Strong experience following SDLC and iterative processes, exposure to Agile methodologies a plus
- Proven ability to direct the activities of others in time sensitive critical projects, ability to multi task effectively
- Strong communication, professional and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning and decision making skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities
- Desire & ability to learn and apply new skills / technologies quickly
