Responsible for development and delivery of a comprehensive information security and privacy program for the college. Coordinate the development and delivery of an education and training program on information security and privacy matters for employees, other authorized users, and students. Serves as the College compliance officer with respect to College, state, and federal information security policies and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor s degree plus two years full-time related work experience or Associate s degree plus five years full time related work experience required. Completion of one information security certification or equivalent: CISSP, CISM, or OPSA required. Completion of one Cisco, Microsoft or Unix Certified System Engineer CORE exams or equivalent preferred. A valid driver s license & insurability to operate College vehicles is required. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. Hiring process includes a background check. Official transcripts required at the time of hire. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
