Communication Sciences and Disorders
Provides supervision and clinical teaching to students in the Center for Disability Studies in Literacy, Language, and Learning and in community settings; provides and directs diagnostic and clinical services; conducts research to develop diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and procedures; and participates in Center and departmental meetings and activities.
Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Iowa license or the ability to become licensed in Iowa, plus at least three years of clinical experience required. Supervision experience as well as a background in literacy and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) preferred. Position is an academic year plus 15 days of scheduled service work schedule. Criminal and other relevant background checks required.
