A primary focus of the Student Life department is to foster student development by providing students with opportunities to get involved, build community and learn outside the classroom. This position supports student success by providing a diverse range of opportunities and services for students to get connected at Davenport University. The position advises the Student Activities Committee and has a student centered approach. In addition, this role will also collaborates with other departments outside of Student Life to best meet the needs of our student population.

The successful candidate for this full-time role will have a Bachelors degree in related field required coupled with student services/student life work experience. A Masters Degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs or a related field referred. Ideal applicant will be a self-starter, highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented person. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and promote a positive working environment will be critical to the success of this role. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both written and oral are needed.
