Provides administrative and project management support for College-sponsored special events. Assists in planning and managing conference functions and resources. Develops and maintains databases and web resources for event functions. Works with both internal departments and external providers to provide quality event services. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate s degree in related field plus three years full time job-related experience required. Bachelor s degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered. Valid driver s license and insurability to drive college vehicles required. Ability to occasionally lift/move 20 lbs. and/or 10 lbs. frequently. Must have excellent written, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and web developments/design software. Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work evenings and weekend hours. Hiring process includes a background check. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
