Lebanon Valley College seeks a Director of Multicultural Affairs. The director of multicultural affairs works collaboratively with the campus community to establish programs and services to promote the success of ALANA students and other underrepresented populations on campus. The director counsels multicultural students, serves as primary advisor to multicultural student organizations, coordinates the annual Social Justice Institute, and manages the program budget for the area, while also assuming an active role in support/advising and mentoring ALANA students, linking students to various campus resources to enhance academic success. The successful candidate must possess a master s degree in higher education, counseling, or other related program; two to three years experience working with ALANA students or other underrepresented populations; strong interpersonal communication skills, and experience in program development. Qualifications also include an availability for evening and weekend work and a proven ability to work effectively with others while being independent and self-motivated.
