Repairs, maintains and installs all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Maintains complete and accurate records of all work performed and coordinates all inspections. Purchases materials and supplies required for repairs and maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma plus five years full time heating and air conditioning and/or refrigerant systems, heat pumps, and pneumatic controls experience required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered. Third grade stationary engineers license preferred; to remain employed, person hired must acquire this license within one year of being hired. Must be E.P.A. certified in refrigerant purchase, recycling, reclaiming and service procedures within 6 months of employment. A valid driver s license & insurability to operate College vehicles is required. Associate s degree in HVAC or related field preferred. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and lift 75 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Hours are Monday-Friday 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This position is designated essential and may be called in for emergencies. Hiring process includes a background check.
