Intercultural Center Program Coordinator

The Intercultural Center Program Coordinator will assist the Office of Equality and Diversity in making Drexel University and its new Intercultural Center a welcoming place for all Drexel University community members. The IC Programming Coordinator will ensure that the mission of the Intercultural Engagement & Diversity Initiative (IEDI) is furthered through programs, services, and events at the Intercultural Center.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree. Minimum zero to one year experience.
Candidate must have excellent problem solving and organizational skills. Must be very detail-oriented.
Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.
Highly proficient with PCs and related software including experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and the internet.
Ability to work diplomatically and collaboratively with people of all levels.
Ability to work independently in planning and implementing responsibilities.
Ability to work late evenings and some weekends when required.

Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the administrative details of programming at the Intercultural Center, (including, but not limited to, the twelve months of topical programming) by coordinating logistics, scheduling, and participant communications.
Responsible for acting as a liaison between Office of Equality and Diversity and administrators from other University departments and outside speakers and lecturers using the Intercultural Center.
Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the event calendar for the Intercultural Center.
Responsible for marketing and publicizing events at the Intercultural Center.
Responsible for acting as a liaison between the I-Forum and student members.
Responsible for developing, compiling and writing communications and promotional literature for distribution such as newsletters, brochures or flyers; coordinates process from development through printing and distribution.

Interacts and maintains liaison with students, faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating IEDI objectives at the Intercultural Center.
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Vice President for Equality and Diversity.
