Job Description: Lab Assistant duties include setting up general biology lab rooms, preparing lab materials including solutions, caring for small lab organisms including plants, insects and fish, cleaning glassware, equipment maintenance and light office work. Operate specialized equipment. Some weekend hours required.
Minimum Qualifications: Students who have completed BIOL 1051, 1101 or 1201 or equivalent are required. Students available to work both Fall and Spring semesters are preferred.
To be eligible for FEDERAL WORK STUDY positions, students MUST BE QUALIFIED and RECEIVE a FEDERAL WORK STUDY AWARD from the ECU Financial Aid Office (Old Cafeteria Complex, 252-328- 6610.
