Job Description: Monarch - Albemarle, NC
We are seeking individuals that are caring, mature, dependable, have great written
and verbal communication skills, and who have great people skills!
1. Continually assess each person receiving services and provide support that
facilitate achievement.
2. Ensuring the rights of each person receiving services are protected and promoted
at all times.
3. Serve as a resource for person served on community agencies, services, and
supports that can meet identified needs or goals.
4. Supervise, educate, and monitor people receiving services in work settings.
5. Maintain a safe working environment for employees and people receiving
services.
6. Continually educate people receiving services on required work procedures,
facility rules, policies, and their rights.
7. Facilitate person centered, effective, positive relationships with people receiving
services.
8. Provide input and recommendations into assessment and planning processes, and
development of the individual's plan.
9. Implement person's plan fully.
10. Complete daily progress notes and communication log.
11. Attend regular staff meetings and other required meetings.
12. Assist in maintaining all necessary records, daily attendance, check sheets, and
production sheets.
13. Substitute in-house or in the community as the demand occurs.
14. Assist new staff and/or current staff with orientation, mentoring, training.
15. Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures.
16. Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications: TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL WORK STUDY POSITIONS, STUDENTS MUST BE QUALIFIED BY THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE (OLD CAFETERIA COMPLEX, 252-328-6610).
