Job Description: Greenville Parks and Recreation-
Must have current basic lifeguard certification, CPR/AED and First Aid. Lifeguard has the duties of maintaining a safe swimming environment at all times, in and around the pool. Must pass a practical water skill test and written test. Should become familiar with the pool filtration system and how to do basic routine maintenance tasks, be able to test the water for level of chlorine and ph in the pool. Will be responsible for completing daily pool reports such as daily water log, attendance records, incident reports, accident reports, and rescue reports.
Minimum Qualifications: TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL WORK STUDY POSITIONS, STUDENTS MUST BE QUALIFIED BY THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE (OLD CAFETERIA COMPLEX, 252-328-6610).
