Job Description: Candidate awarded this position will work in the CHILDREN'S LIBRARY located at 530 Evans Street. Coordinate the distribution and maintenance of summer reading materials and prizes for the main library, four branch libraries and the bookmobile. Create program props and materials for weekly story hours. Assist groups with maintaining summer reading records. Create displays and bulletin boards. Collect books, songs and poems for weekly programs. Count and record statistics at the end of the Summer program and attend the picnic held at the end of July to assist as needed. Assist in library duties as needed. This position requires some weekend hours.
Minimum Qualifications: To be eligible for FEDERAL WORK STUDY positions, students MUST BE QUALIFIED and RECEIVE a FEDERAL WORK STUDY AWARD from the ECU Financial Aid Office (Old Cafeteria Complex, 252-328- 6610.
