Job Description: Direct client intakes; oversee and manage client records; assume financial management of clinic; oversee clinic public relations; promote cooperative community programming; assist with MFT/MedFT program administration; and manage physical operations of the Family Therapy Clinic and Redditt House Research Academy. Candidates should have an interest in engaging with community members, be culturally competent and be able to successfully collaborate in the community. Additional primary responsibilities include teaching courses, mentoring students, grant submission, development of a practical research agenda, and professional/university service.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D., PsyD., DSW) from a Marriage (Couple) and Family Therapy (MFT), Medical Family Therapy (MedFT), or related mental health discipline (with preference for COAMFTE accredited programs). Applications will be accepted from ABD candidates who are very near degree completion and have significant qualifications for the position. Applicants should be eligible for licensure as a marriage and family therapist (MFT) in the state of North Carolina (NC) within 6 months of hire. Additionally, applicants should be eligible as a clinical fellow designation through the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and be designated as an AAMFT approved supervisor or meet the qualifications of a supervisor candidate. The candidate will have demonstrated successful years of clinical experience, administration, teaching, and scholarship excellence.
