The University Controller is responsible for directing the Controller s Office to ensure proper accounting and treasury functions throughout the University and reports directly to the Vice President for Financial Affairs. A qualified candidate will have experience in:

Managing operating cash flow,
Managing investment/endowment transactions,
Preparation of financial reports and projections,
Compliance reporting,
Completion of audits with independent auditors,
Overseeing grant accounting,
Managing the finance module of the enterprise software system,
Supervising Controller s office staff including bursar and accountants,
Providing university-wide training in financial systems and procedures.

The position requires a bachelor s degree, master s preferred, in accounting, finance or related field from an accredited institution; and a minimum of five years accounting management experience. Additional preferences include a CPA and significant knowledge and experience managing the finance module of an enterprise software system.
