Bennington College seeks a visiting (one year, starting in fall 2010) full-time faculty member in physics to teach one course in introductory physics w/ lab sequence, plus additional introductory and intermediate courses in physics and/or mathematics. Particular interests include but are not limited to astronomy and astrophysics. Applicants should have a Ph.D. (ABD considered) in an appropriate field. Previous teaching experience is desired. The College observatory, available for teaching and research purposes, houses a fully automated, 16 Ritchey-Chr tien telescope.
