The film studies program at Howard Community College is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic candidate with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. Criteria include evidence of teaching excellence in film, and commitment to the community college philosophy and mission. The position requires a Master's degree in film studies, interdisciplinary arts or related field; a strong professional background in film criticism; and a proven record of teaching film and fine arts at the community college or university level. Experience working with diverse student populations desirable. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Rank and salary are determined by the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
