The Department of Communication Studies seeks to fill a full-time Term (non-tenure track) faculty position to teach multiple sections of the college-wide communication fundamentals course. This position is a one-year, non-tenure track appointment (renewable for up to five years) depending on the needs of the department. The initial appointment is for the 2010-11 academic year beginning September 1, 2010.
A Master s degree in Communication is the minimum degree requirement. Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to working in an interdisciplinary setting and possess exceptional college-level experience teaching communication courses to non-majors. Duties include instruction and curriculum development for the course. Experience in assessment is desirable.
