Instructional Faculty Positions

Clark State Community College is a public, comprehensive, two-year higher education institution located in Springfield, Ohio. We are accepting resumes for the following Full-time Instructional Faculty Positions:
Geospatial Technology:
Master s in Geospatial Technology or a related field preferred. Bachelor s in Geospatial Technology required. Experience in a geospatial technology related area highly desirable. Collegiate /adult-level teaching experience preferred. Online teaching experience helpful. Duties include classroom and online teaching; curriculum and course development, including online courses; student advising; assessment of student learning; program promotion and student recruitment.

English Composition:
Master s in English or closely related field required; background in teaching Composition. Doctorate degree preferred. Must have at least 18 graduate credit hours in English. Two years full-time or equivalent successful teaching experience and strong technology skills required. Collegiate /adult-level teaching experience preferred. Online teaching experience helpful. Duties include classroom and online teaching; curriculum and course development, including online courses; student advising; assessment of student learning; program promotion and student recruitment.

Mathematics/College Preparatory:
Master s in Mathematics required; some background in statistics. Doctorate degree preferred. Two years full-time or equivalent teaching experience and technology skills required. Collegiate /adult-level teaching experience preferred. Online teaching experience helpful. Duties include classroom and online teaching; curriculum and course development, including online courses; student advising; assessment of student learning; program promotion and student recruitment.

Physics/ Mathematics:
Master s in Physics required; some background in math/statistics. Doctorate degree preferred. Two years full-time or equivalent successful teaching experience and strong technology skills required. Collegiate /adult-level teaching experience preferred. Online teaching experience helpful. TDuties include classroom and online teaching; curriculum and course development, including online courses; student advising; assessment of student learning; program promotion and student recruitment.

Social Sciences include teaching courses in Political Science, Geography, History, Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology:
Master s in Political Science, Geography, History, Anthropology, Sociology, or Psychology required. Doctorate degree preferred. Ability to teach in multiple disciplines highly preferred. Must have at least 18 graduate credit hours in each discipline taught. Two years full-time or equivalent successful teaching experience and strong technology skills required. Collegiate /adult-level teaching experience preferred. Online teaching experience helpful. Duties include classroom and online teaching; curriculum and course development, including online courses; student advising; assessment of student learning; program promotion and student recruitment.

Registered Nursing:
Master s in Nursing, a minimum of two years recent clinical experience and current valid licensure as an Ohio RN. Clinical experience in medical surgical and psychiatric nursing areas as well as teaching experience in a collegiate setting is preferred. Duties include classroom, lab and clinical instruction and student academic advisement. Must have the flexibility to teach day, evening, and/or weekend hours and to provide instruction for courses offered at the college s Greene County and Springfield.

Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
