MUSIC DIRECTOR OF CHORAL STUDIES: Utah Valley University located in Orem, Utah invites applications for an assistant professor/director of choral studies to conduct choral ensembles. Additional teaching assignments could include group voice, choral literature and methods, aural skills, introduction to music, theory, history, and other areas depending on candidate's qualifications and needs of the Department. Incumbent will advise undergraduate students, actively recruit, serve on committees and perform other appropriate university and professional service. Other activities may include visits to secondary schools, attending national conferences, offering workshops and adjudicating.
Masters degree required. Doctoral degree required for tenure. Significant experience in choral conducting and performance required. Experience teaching in higher education preferred.
