Director of Student Activities/Student Center

EMPLOYMENT DATE: August 2010

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, 12-month

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Director provides leadership and advocacy for students in the areas of student clubs and organizations and extra- and co-curricular programs on campus. Directs the operation of the Student Center and creates a vibrant environment within the center. Responsible for design and implementation of student leadership development programs. Oversees the non-academic use of most college facilities and services by campus and community groups. Works collaboratively with other student life and college staff to create an effective student life program.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor s Degree and 5 years of related experience or a Master s Degree and three years of related experience. Ability to possess a valid New York State driver s license and van driver s certification within 90 days preferred. Experience working in a multicultural setting with a diverse student population is highly desired.

EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE:
$54,540 - $68,176
