Position Description

Colorado State University invites applications and nominations for the position of Director, Office of Equal Opportunity. Colorado State University is a Carnegie research extensive land-grant university committed to the ideal that educated and motivated people can make a difference in the world.

The Director reports directly to the Vice President for University Operations. This is a 12-month full-time position.

Candidate Qualifications

Required:
A bachelor s degree in a related field
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of responsibility listed in the comprehensive job description
Excellent writing and analytical skills
Demonstrated commitment to diversity

Preferred:
A master s degree in a related field or a law degree
Experience with an institution of higher education
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact successfully within a University community
Exceptional communication skills
Experience with regulatory compliance
