The successor to the current Provost will be an educator with a demonstrated record of academic, executive, and administrative leadership; experience in building and effectively managing strong academic programs and student services focused upon student success and student retention. A capable leader, interested in change, with a commitment to community engagement and building partnerships with the community; experience in and commitment to excellence in teaching; experience in working in and fostering a diverse, multicultural, and international community is sought. The selected candidate will be skilled in management, budgeting, controls and operational procedures; and must be an effective communicator. She or he will be a team player with a collaborative leadership style, skilled in effective use of information technology for administrative and instructional purposes, and will be an active participation in daily campus activities.
