GREEN RIVER COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Green River Community College's Board of Trustees is seeking an inclusive, business-minded, visionary, who is passionate about education to lead its innovative and exceptional two-year college in the State of Washington.
As a comprehensive community college, Green River is a leading institution with an excellent teaching faculty and strong student services. The College has a premier academic transfer program and is known nationally as a leader in math, science and teacher preparation. In addition, Green River has more than 40 professional and technical training programs as varied as aviation to welding and serves a large number of ABE/ESOL learners. Green River has a quarterly enrollment of approximately 12,000 credit and non-credit students. It is a leader in the state in providing learning opportunities for Running Start and Worker Retraining students and its International Program is one of the largest community college programs in the nation.

The board's ideal candidate is a reality-based problem solver who respects various opinions and shared governance, promotes diversity, personifies dedication to the comprehensive community college mission and values student learning in all aspects of college operations.

Required Qualifications:
A master s degree from an accredited institution is required. An earned doctorate is preferred.

Senior-level administrative experience is required. Experience at a comprehensive community college is preferred.
