COUNSELING SERVICES

BROOKDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE seeks individual with demonstrated counseling ability, excellent management and communications skills for the design, implementation and coordination of an effective academic advisement system and appropriate counseling programming designed to contribute to the students overall development. This position reports to the Director, Student Development Services. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the hiring, scheduling, training, management, supervision and evaluation of a staff consisting of counselors, administrators, support staff and student workers.
Masters Degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology, College Student Personnel or a related field is necessary. Minimum of two years experience in postsecondary counseling/advisement, and three years of responsible managerial/supervisory experience in counseling or student services is required. Knowledge about current research
regarding counseling issues and knowledge of different delivery
models is essential. Must have functional knowledge of current computer technologies pertaining to the delivery of counseling and advisement services, etc.
Annual salary range $65,274 - $75,065 with full benefits.
