Kent State University seeks a strategic, effective and principled leader for the position of Director of Athletics. The successful candidate will possess significant and progressively responsible experience in sports administration, preferably at the NCAA Division I level; successful experience in fundraising and marketing; knowledge and understanding of higher education and an appreciation of the university's academic mission and programs; superb interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; demonstrated ability to build and lead an effective, diverse, complex organization; experience with strategic and operational planning and budgeting; Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
