The Los Angeles Community District is seeking a Vice President of Academic Affairs to serve at Los Angeles City College. Interested individuals who possess the required training and experience are invited to submit applications. The Vice President of Academic Affairs serves as an assistant to the College President and as a line officer in planning, organizing, and administering and supervising the instructional programs of the college.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must meet State minimum requirements as an administrator either by: a California credential authorizing administrative service at the community college level or a masters degree or other advanced degree of at least equivalent standard (from an accredited college or university); the required degree must be completed at the time of filing an application; one year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrative assignment.
COMPENSATION
The salary range is $136,613 to $160,407 annually. New employees to the District will be allocated within the salary range according to previous salary. Employee benefits include 15.5 paid holidays annually, 24 days paid vacation annually, medical/hospital,
dental and vision care plans and a $50,000 group life insurance policy.
