Job Description: The Department of Chemistry at East Carolina University invites applications for a biochemist at the rank of Associate Professor to begin August 16, 2010. Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching, mentoring students in the M.S. and Ph.D. programs, and rendering appropriate professional, university and community service. Collaboration with a growing group of biological scientists in the Departments of Chemistry and Biology, and in the ECU School of Medicine is encouraged.
Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. from an appropriately accredited institution, postdoctoral research experience and a proven track record of external funding.
