Roger Williams University seeks an experienced, entrepreneurial and energetic leader to serve as its Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs. Located on a stunning 140 acres overlooking Mount Hope Bay in Bristol, Rhode Island, the Roger Williams campus takes advantage of the New England coastline s natural beauty and is easily accessible from Providence, Boston or New York City. It is expected that the new Vice President will begin duties during the June July 2010 timeframe.
Under the leadership of President Roy J. Nirschel, Roger Williams has enjoyed a decade of unprecedented growth. It is presently ranked in the top tier by US News and World Report and has experienced record increases in applications, enrollment and academic quality.

Reporting to the President, the Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs is the primary development officer for the University, providing strategy, leadership, direction and top-tier management of all development and alumni relations for the advancement of the University s fundraising goals and objectives. He/she shall develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to expand and promote the University s fundraising efforts with alumni, friends, parents, corporations, and foundations.
