Job Description: The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, is now accepting applications for additional faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, or above, with a tenure-track or fixed-term appointment, with primary emphasis on inpatient care as a Hospitalist at Vidant Medical Center.
The role of a Hospitalist includes, but is not limited to, the diagnosis of complex medical conditions and acute illnesses on a 24/7 basis in a hospital setting.
The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Vidant Medical Center. VMC is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health Systems and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Minimum Qualifications: Medical degree from an appropriately accredited institution.
Board certification or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
