Pending final approval. Entry-level, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Fiction or Creative Nonfiction. M.F.A. or Ph.D. must be completed by 15 August 2010 starting date. Publication record in creative writing and experience in teaching at the college level required. Position includes 3/3 course load, creative productivity, and a service commitment. Teaching responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate creative writing workshops, literature, and composition courses, along with direction of honors and master s theses. Our 40-member department offers B.A. and M.A. degrees within a nationally ranked teaching and research urban university of 16,000 students.
