Job Description: A registered nurse is needed to work intermittently in an ambulatory outpatient setting, providing care to the college age population. Responsibilities include nursing assessment, triaging, and patient education, as well as assisting medical providers with procedures and other office activities. Experience in an outpatient and/or college health setting is preferred. Hours will vary according to the needs of the clinic.


Minimum Qualifications: Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina.


Special Instructions to Applicants: Applicants who are licensed in another state will be considered, but must obtain a provisional North Carolina license if candidate of choice.

This is a part-time intermittent position.

This position is subject to the Career Banding Salary Administration Plan. If candidates are not identified at the Journey level, management may consider candidates at a lower competency level. Pay will be commensurate with applicant's competencies as well as budget, equity, and market considerations.

Salary Grade Equivalent: 74 (for reduction-in-force priority purposes only)
