ASSOCIATE PROVOST FOR ENROLLMENT SERVICES
Job Description: The successful candidate will play a key role in setting future directions for the university through visionary leadership, direction and coordination for all aspects of enrollment management. The Associate Provost is responsible for the development, assessment, and utilization of historical and trend data for the enhancement of student enrollment operations. In addition, the Associate Provost will serve as the lynchpin in the implementation of new enrollment practices as a result of the recommendations from the Strategic Enrollment Management Task Force.
The Associate Provost will report to the Provost with an understanding of direct responsibility for assignments and support to all divisions involved in academic coursework and advising. The Associate Provost will provide supervision of the Offices of Financial Aid, University Registrar, Admissions and critical academic support services involved in enrollment management with particular attention to leadership in the institution's recruitment and retention efforts. The Associate Provost will serve as a key member of the Provost's executive group, and will sit on a number of key institutional and divisional committees, task forces, and councils.
Minimum Qualifications: The Associate Provost must hold a master's degree (doctorate preferred) from an appropriately accredited institution in an appropriate academic discipline. The successful candidate must have significant and broad administrative experience in higher education and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible enrollment management/services experience. The Associate Provost will have demonstrated skills in planning, organization, communication and team building and the ability to work with a variety of internal and external constituencies. The Associate Provost must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing collaborative relationships is required.
